Tyent 9090 Review

Retail Price $3,495

The Tyent 9090 is now the Tyent Turbo 9090 and is reviewed here. Above the $3,000 price it starts to hit the higher end of Water Ionizers but I think you'll find some wonderful qualities to this machine as I did.

The big question about this model:

Is it worth $3,500?

9 Plates vs. 7 Plates ??

I've written extensively about the difference between 5, 7 and 9 plate water ionizers. There are several ways to look at it:

Number of Plates and Efficiency - The reason there are more 7 plate ionizers and very few 9 plate ionizers (and a few 5 plate machines) is similar to the reason that there are more 4 and 6 cylinder cars and very few 12 cylinder cars. As much as I miss my old 12 cylinder jaguar it costs more, required more maintenance, and I couldn't find many ocassions to drive over 100 MPH.

Surface Area - Regarding surface area - one large plate could have the safe surface area as let's say 11 small plates, but would be an odd fit on your counter top. 21 small plates wouldn't be efficient electrically.

How much ORP and pH range do you need? Too high an alkaline level can also be harmful and while you can adjust the machine 9 plates water ionizers (in my opinion) is an unnecessary expense for the desired results.
