Life Ionizer 9000 Review

Retail Price $2,997

Overview

The Life Ionizer 9000 Model is a 9 Plate water ionization machine. But before you go thinking that 9 plates are better than 7 we'll be taking a closer look at what this means (if anything) and whether the price is worth the added expense.

Is it worth $2,997 ?

Common Questions

Q: The Life Ionizer 9000 features 9 plates. Is it better to have 9 plates as opposed to 7 or 5?

A: NO. There is a good reason that you see 7 plate ionizers more than 5, 9, or 11 plate ionizers. It all has to do with surface area. One large plate could have the safe surface area as let's say 11 small plates, but it wouldn't fit on your counter top. You could also have 21 small plates but it wouldn't be efficient electrically . The number of plates is not as important as that it covers enough surface area to yield the pH and the ORP values which are in the beneficial range for the human body. Too high an alkaline level can also be harmful.

As with 12 cylinder cars, 9 plates water ionizers (in my opinion) is an unnecessary expense for the desired results.

Q: Mesh or Flat Plates?

There's not a lot of difference between the two, and the added expense to upgrade is not worth it. You'll get enough ORP and pH results with flat . Plus while MESH has more surface area (which allows a slightly higher ionization) it requires more descaling and (according to many technicians) can mean sooner replacement of the plates than flat plates. Stick with flat.

Q: Ultraviolet Light?

A: If you are on city water it is unecessary, as chlorine takes out or kills pathogens and bacteria.
