The LIFE ionizer 7600 is a popular 7 plate ionizer now on the market.
I like the ionizers by this company in many ways, and while I'm ready to do a glowing report on the life ionizer 7600 model several issues about the companies ethics have been raised having to do with:
1) They claim to be sold in Sears and in Home Depot, but they aren't actually sold in these stores but rather are sold on these companies websites. Much the same as Ebay and Amazon Sears, Home Depot, Target, Walmart, and other retailers will sell almost any product on their websites.
2) Despite continuous claims that they are AAA+ rated by the Better Business Bureau on their site (and Distributors sites) a review of the Better Business Bureau shows 1) an F rating 2) a list of complaints by consumers and by the Better Business Bureau. (see below)
While the BBB is known at times to coerce people into becoming members of their organization (about $600 a year I believe) I hope they remedy their diminished reputation and these customer issues.
With that out of the way let's move forward now with a review of this model...
Distributed and designed by EarthTrade, the LIFE Ionizer® Company is based in Carlsbad California. The Life Ionizer 7600 model is manufactured in South Korea - although several electronic components are from Japan (as we could tell from dissecting the machine).
It has electronics that allow for an optional under counter installation.
The LIFE 7600 can be converted from a counter top to an under-counter
model simply by connecting the optional LIFE 8100 faucet and installing
it on your sink counter top. This beautiful brushed stainless steel
faucet controls all of the functions that you would normally use on the
machine itself, all while the ionizer is operating from below your sink.
With this type of innovation it is no wonder that the LIFE 7600 is the
most popular ionizer of its class.

Q: Is it worth upgrading to the LIFE MESH Technology™ over the standard flat plates for $100?
A: Not in my opinion. While it claims to increase the Orp 15% you should get plenty of performance with the flat plates. Plus the MESH style requires more maintenance (more small nooks and crannies for the buildup to develop) and earlier replacement.
Q; How about the UV Light Technology™?
A: If you're on City or Tap water then bacteria and germs are already be removed by the chlorine from the city system, which is then removed from the dual filter. No need for the additional expense of UV.

I think the Life Ionizer 7600 is a good unit, with a fair market value.
While I believe there are some better value water ionizers, with the same or better quality for less money, the concerns about Customer Service and the Better Business bureau issues make me hesitate recommending them.
