Retail Price $1,697
When it comes to the Life 7600 Water Ionizer the Life Company (Their business name being Earth Trade) does a fair job at a fair price for a 7 plate water ionizer. It's one of their lower priced units and we'll look at why Life has so many units. It's also interesting that they give you the option of a flat plate or their MESH plates. Despite the marketing I would suggest you go for the flat plates, although both will do the job there is some controversy, as well as pros and cons, about the differences.
Because they are not an MLM you (in general) find a lower price. The question then is whether you can find something better for less money. I'll also respond to some of the Better Business Bureau complaints they've received in my conclusion.
Before we answer these question let's take a closer look at the Life 7600 Water Ionizer.

When it comes to water ionizers it's always interesting to try and sort through the marketing "controversies" and by that I mean many of the the promoted differences between companies. It's very dog-eat-dog.
These issues which include:
1) Mesh vs. Solid plates
2) SMPS power supplies
3) Overheating issues
4) Japan vs. Korea vs. China
5) Plating vs. sprayed plates
When you get past all of these issues (which aren't major issues) then it's a matter of quality and price value.

Sometimes you have to "read between the lines" and give a Company the benefit of the doubt, and by that I mean allow for Sales Agents who annoy or who may strong arm customers into buying, or customer reps having a bad day. When a company becomes successful or sales quotas have to be me the customer comes last.
Here are a few recent developments by the Better Business bureau for Life:
BBB requested that the company substantiate the various health benefits claims made on their website. Earth Trade Water responded to BBB's request by removing the challenged
health claims and modifying many of their claims to include references
and/or links to substantiating references.
In September 2012, it came to BBB's attention that the company was using the challenged advertising claims that had previously been removed or modified. BBB also conducted an undercover shop phone call to Earth Trade Water. During the call, the company representative made several health claims. For example, the representative claimed that arthritis was a disease that affected muscles, not bones, and the company's products created water "micro-clusters, which can flush the toxins out of the muscles and loosen everything up." After the undercover shop call, the company representative sent the caller additional literature which also included health claims that the company previously represented to have discontinued.
