Ionizer Plus by Singer

Suggested Retail $2,095

Overview

The Ionizer Plus by Singer (No, not the same company as Singer sewing machines) is manufactured in Japan by the Akai Electric Company Ltd. You'll see it sold as Akai water ionizer as well.

While Japanese products, and ionizers, are of excellent quality they also come with a higher price. Korean Water Ionizers are lower priced, yet today you will find quality ionizers made there as well. While Chinese Water Ionizers run the full range from inexpensive models to a few high quality models which all come in lower than the Korean and Japanese models like the Ionizer Plus. As with other products Japan leads the way, then Korea catches up, and today China is becoming the world's production leader.

I also had a hard time finding some of the information needed to make this a more complete review to our standards. Conclusion

I like the fact that it includes UV light to kill germs and bacteria, although if you are using city tap water then the ultraviolet part of this machine is unnecessary. The price is reasonable given that it is made in Japan, however I would opt for a Korean model or one of the better Chinese models if I wanted to save some money.

My apologies for not having one of these machines to test but I hope to do that in the near future. or if you have more technical information on this model, or a review please send me an email or use the reply for on the right column.
